Note: Before you try reading the method is advisable,
if you are not already done so, read the article Description
and notation of the Rubik's Cube, in order to better understand.
The method of solving Lars Petrus is one of the alternatives to the layer by layer
method and is suitable to solve the Rubik's Cube of quickly.
Using this method Lars Petrus won the Swedish championship and came fourth
in world championships in Budapest in 1982. Lars says that in a good way to
solve the Cube to do something useful to every move, while using a method layers
is necessary to turn back several times, disfacendo work just done. The number
of moves can go from about 100 to less than 60.
We build a cube 2x2x2 placing a corner and the three corners adjacent to the
right place, properly oriented. To do this we choose an angle to do and try
the corresponding three corners: for example taking the corner with the colors
A, B and C corners to be taken will be those with the colors A and B, A and C,
B and C. In the colours A, B and C are white, green and red, but as to be quick
to find the angle easier to resolve is not always necessary to start from these colors.

Affianchiamo one of the three corners at orientandolo so that the same colors are on the same side (corner shot in the right direction with respect to), anywhere in the Cube. It is important to them right now in the position of the Cube.

We put one of the other two corners in the correct position and in the right direction compared to Cube (the edge with colors A and B should be between the central cubic A and B, so that the colors are on the faces correspondents).

Uniamo first two pieces with the third, putting them in the correct positions than the Cube.

We put in its place the third corner, obviously in the right direction. To do this you will need to move the cubes made up to now in place.
